The treatment works by gently relaxing the muscles responsible for expression lines, so the skin above them smooths out. It's a quick appointment with no surgery and no downtime, you can go straight back to your day afterwards.

Most clients describe it as a quick scratch - a fine needle is used and the whole appointment is over in around 15–30 minutes with no need for numbing cream.

Results typically begin to show 3–7 days after treatment and settle fully within two weeks. The effect generally lasts three to four months, so regular follow-up appointments keep results consistent.

Anti-wrinkle treatment is very safe when carried out by a trained practitioner. Occasionally clients notice mild bruising, swelling or a slight headache at the injection site, which settles quickly. This treatment isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for anyone with an allergy to cow's milk protein- we'll cover all of this at your consultation.

Let us know at consultation if you've had any anti-wrinkle treatment in the past four months, or if you take blood thinners, muscle relaxants or allergy medication. Afterwards, avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area for 24 hours, and skip strenuous exercise for the rest of the day.
